A young skier was flown to Boston Children’s Hospital Thursday evening after colliding with a tree while at Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford, Massachusetts, authorities said. The Westford Fire Department said they responded to the ski area around 4:30 p.m. after receiving a report that a juvenile male hit a tree while skiing. The victim was flown to Boston Children’s Hospital. The exact injuries and condition of the child were not immediately known.
